Hi,

I have a couple of questions regarding the Battle Armor 3.0 rules:

1. Page 5: Just to clarify, craters and alien bush are "Hindered Terrain" while dense jungle and wreckage are "impassable terrain". The formatting of the rules was mildly confusing. ;)

2. On the Weapons Lists table:

    a. In the Damage column, if the word "Mega" appears, then the weapon does its damage to the megahex? For instance, a Plasma Grenade does 3 damage to all seven hexes of the megahex in which it lands, then leaves a Rad 1 marker behind.

    b. What is the range of the various items shot from a missile launcher?

    c. The Plasma Shell states it has a preset range of "6", but no movement allowance listed. Does that imply it has a movement of "6"?

Thanks. I'm sure I'll have more questions after I get a chance to push some counters around.

Glad you like the game. Ok here are your answers….


1. Yes you are correct they are both hindered, while the jingle and wreckage is impassible.

2. Correct Mega means it hits all of those small hexes.

The range of the missile launcher os based on the type of missile being used.

The Plasma Shell can not be used once with a range of 6 hexes.

Thanks for the response. I must admit that I am still confused on these two items. Looking at the Weapons List of the Version 3 rules, I do not see ranges listed for the missiles (only dashes), which is what prompted my original question.

As for the Plasma Shell, I think I understand that the weapon has a range of exactly 6 hexes, no more, no less. I further understand it covers that range in a single turn (as opposed to the 4/turn of the other missiles).

Thanks again. Looking forward to giving this a spin this weekend.
