Here is a look at the expanded Ambusher charts.

Detailed Combat Actions for NPCs and Enemies
Ambusher (not in melee)
Roll 1d20 the first round of the character’s action in combat. Thereafter that character will continue with the action rolled until they either complete said action (At which point you will roll for a new action), or the character is engaged in melee by a foe. (At which point you would move to the “In Melee” charts)

Roll 1d20
1: The character will stand around and take no action this round. Re-roll for on the next round for their next action.
2: The character will move at 1/2 their movement away from the closet enemy, but they will not leave the battle. Re-roll for on the next round for their next action.
3: The character will, if they have a ranged weapon, ready said weapon. (Roll on the Shooter not in melee chart for now on), otherwise re-roll on this chart if they do not have a ranged weapon on hand.
4: The character will move at 1/2 their movement towards the closest enemy, but will not engage said foe in melee. Re-roll for on the next round for their next action.
5: The character will, if they have the Stealth skill, or some other hidden movement ability, try to move by stealth, 1/2 their movement towards the closest enemy in sight and try to maneuver behind that enemy to reach said target’s rear facing. Once the character has reached this position, the Ambusher will attack, with advantage, and using any special abilities in combat or Sneak Attack ability should they have it, the target of their stealthy movement. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)
6: The character will move at full moment to engage the closest foe into melee. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)
7: The character will move at full moment away from the closest foe. The character will not leave the battle though. Re-roll for on the next round for their next action.
8: The character will move at their the full movement towards the closest enemy, but will not engage said foe in melee. Re-roll for on the next round for their next action.
9: The character will try to hide, if possible, to avoid being the target of a ranged attack. Re-roll for on the next round for their next action.
10: The character will move at their full movement, towards the closest enemy already engaged in melee, and enter melee with said foe. If they have the Sneak Attack ability, they will use it once they are engaged with that foe. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)
11: The character will movement, at their full movement, towards the closest enemy fighter type character, and try to maneuver behind that enemy to reach said target’s rear facing. Once the character has reached this position, the Ambusher will attack, with advantage, and using any special abilities in combat or Sneak Attack ability should they have it, the target fighter. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)
12: The character will movement, at their full movement, towards the closest enemy spell caster, and try to maneuver behind that enemy to reach said target’s rear facing. Once the character has reached this position, the Ambusher with attack, with advantage, and using any special abilities in combat or Sneak Attack ability should they have it, the target spell caster. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)
13: The character will movement, at their full movement, towards the closest enemy character not engaged in melee, and try to maneuver behind that enemy to reach said target’s rear facing. Once the character has reached this position, the Ambusher will attack, with advantage, and using any special abilities in combat or Sneak Attack ability should they have it, the target fighter. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)
14: The character will movement, at their full movement, towards the closest enemy character that is using a ranged weapon or attack, and try to maneuver behind that enemy to reach said target’s rear facing. Once the character has reached this position, the Ambusher will attack, with advantage, and using any special abilities in combat or Sneak Attack ability should they have it, the target character. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)
15: The character will, if they have the Stealth skill, or some other hidden movement ability, try to move by stealth, at their full movement towards the closest enemy in sight and try to maneuver behind that enemy to reach said target’s rear facing. Once the character has reached this position, the Ambusher will attack, with advantage, and using any special abilities in combat or Sneak Attack ability should they have it, the target of their stealthy movement. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)
16: The character will, if they have the Stealth skill, or some other hidden movement ability, try to move by stealth, at full movement towards the closest enemy fighter type, in sight, and try to maneuver behind that enemy to reach said target’s rear facing. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)
17: The character will, if they have the Stealth skill, or some other hidden movement ability, try to move by stealth, at full movement towards the closest enemy spell caster, in sight, and try to maneuver behind that enemy to reach said target’s rear facing. Once the character has reached this position, the Ambusher will attack, with advantage, and using any special abilities in combat or Sneak Attack ability should they have it, the target of their stealthy movement. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)
18: The character will, if they have the Stealth skill, or some other hidden movement ability, try to move by stealth, at full movement towards the closest enemy with a ranged attack, who is not engaged in melee, and in sight, and try to maneuver behind that enemy to reach said target’s rear facing. Once the character has reached this position, the Ambusher will attack, with advantage, and using any special abilities in combat or Sneak Attack ability should they have it, the target of their stealthy movement. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)
19: The character will, if they have the Stealth skill, or some other hidden movement ability, try to move by stealth, at full movement towards the closest enemy that is already engaged in melee combat, and is in sight, and try to maneuver behind that enemy to reach said target’s rear facing. Once the character has reached this position, the Ambusher will attack, with advantage, and using any special abilities in combat or Sneak Attack ability should they have it, the target of their stealthy movement. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)
20: The character will, if they have the Stealth skill, or some other hidden movement ability, try to move by stealth, at full movement towards the closest enemy that is wounded, and in sight, and try to maneuver behind that enemy to reach said target’s rear facing. Once the character has reached this position, the Ambusher will attack, with advantage, and using any special abilities in combat or Sneak Attack ability should they have it, the target of their stealthy movement. (Use the in melee charts thereafter)

Using Stealth in Combat
If the character is not engaged in melee, they can try to sneak around with a DC of 15.

Spiting a Stealth Moving Character while in Combat
If a character is trying to move about the battle using the Stealth skill, others can try to spot them if the character can draw a line of eight to the Stealth moving foe.

The DC for the Perception skill check is a 15, with the following modifiers.
You are in Melee: +2
You are not in Melee, but with two squares of a foe character (not thought, the stealthy character you are trying to spot): +1
You are not in Melee and no foes are close by: -2
You cannot draw a clear line of sight to the stealthy character, but can still see them partially. (Eh, someone is standing between the two of you, a tree of bush is in the way, etc): +3
You are within two squares of the stealthy character: -4

Ambush and Flank Attacks
If a character can move to the rear facing of a target and make an attack, they can do so with Advantage to those attacks. Characters cannot generally make attacks on targets in their rear facing unless they shift their position by turning around, which may or may not expose them to other attacks to their new rear facing.

When an Ambusher moves to ambush, they will try to move to the rear facing of the target and attack with advantage. If they have a he Sneak Attack ability, they can use it in this ambush attack.

Ambusher (in melee)
Roll 1d20 the first round of the character’s action in melee combat. Thereafter that character will continue with the action rolled until they either complete said action by scoring a hit on their target (At which point you will roll for a new action), or the character moves out of melee either by their own movement or the foes.. (At which point you would move to the “Not in Melee” charts)

Roll 1d20
1: The character will disengage from melee (This will not generate an attack of opportunity against them). Once disengaged, the Ambusher will move at their full movement away from the enemy character. Once they have moved as far away as possible, or out of sight, of the last foe they were engaged in melee with, the Ambusher will stop their movement. Re-roll their next action using the “Not in melee” chart.
2: The character will shift their position in the melee, so as to open up space for more allies to engage the same foe. The Ambusher will make a melee attack if able. Roll again on this chart on the Ambusher’s next action.
3: The character will disengage from melee, move one square away and then rest for one round (This will not generate an attack of opportunity against them). The Ambusher will then move to enter melee, in the next round, with the same foe as before, but in s better position, do as to try to flank the target. If the Ambusher cannot gain a better position, they will just re-enter the melee in whatever position they can and still get an attack against the prior foe.
4: The character will disengage from melee (This will not generate an attack of opportunity against them). Once disengaged, the Ambusher will move at their 1/2 their movement, away from the enemy character. Once they have moved as far away as possible, or out of sight, of the last foe they were engaged in melee with, the Ambusher will stop their movement. Re-roll their next action using the “Not in melee” chart.
5: The character will make an attack on the foe they are engaged with. If they are engaged with more then one for, the Ambusher will attack a fighter type target. If no fighter type is available, then the Ambusher will attack a target that is the most wounded.
6: The character will make an attack on the foe they are engaged with. If they are engaged with more then one for, the Ambusher will attack a spell caster target. If no spell caster is available, then the Ambusher will attack a target that is the most wounded.
7: The character will make an attack on the foe they are engaged with. If they are engaged with more then one for, the Ambusher will attack a target that is the most wounded.
8: The character will shift their position in the melee, so as to open up space for more allies to engage the same foe. The Ambusher will make a melee attack if able. Roll again on this chart on the Ambusher’s next action.
9: The character will disengage from melee (This will not generate an attack of opportunity against them), move two squares away and then rest for one round. They will then move to enter melee, with the a different foe as before, but doing so the Ambusher can to try to flank the target. If the Ambusher cannot gain a better position, they will just re-enter into melee in whatever position they can and still get an attack against the new foe.
10: The character will make an attack on the foe they are engaged with. If they are engaged with more then one for, the Ambusher will attack a target that is the most wounded.
11: The character will make an attack on the foe they are engaged with. If they are engaged with more then one for, the Ambusher will attack a fighter type target. If no fighter type is available, then the Ambusher will attack a target that is the most wounded.
12: The character will make an attack on the foe they are engaged with. If they are engaged with more then one for, the Ambusher will attack a spell caster target. If no spell caster is available, then the Ambusher will attack a target that is the most wounded.
13: The character will shift their position in the melee, so as to open up space for more allies to engage the same foe. The Ambusher will make a melee attack if able. Roll again on this chart on the Ambusher’s next action.
14: The character will disengage from melee (This will not generate an attack of opportunity against them), move two squares away and then rest for one round. They will then move to enter melee, with the a different foe as before, but doing so the Ambusher can to try to flank the target. If the Ambusher cannot gain a better position, they will just re-enter into melee in whatever position they can and still get an attack against the new foe.
15: The character will make an attack on the foe they are engaged with. If they are engaged with more then one for, the Ambusher will attack a target that is the most wounded.
16: The character will disengage from melee (This will not generate an attack of opportunity against them), move one square away and then rest for one round. They will then move to enter melee, with the same foe as before, but in s better position, do as to try to flank the target. If the Ambusher cannot gain a better position, they will just re-enter the melee in whatever position they can and still get an attack against the prior foe.
17: The character will try, if able, to disarm their foe. A character can use a weapon attack to knock a weapon or another item from a target's grasp. The attacker makes an attack roll contested by the target's Strength (Athletics) check or Dexterity (Acrobatics)
18: The character will grapple the target. If more the one target is available, the Ambusher will roll randomly to see which is grappled.
(When you want to grab a creature or wrestle with it, you can use the Attack action to make a Special melee Attack, a grapple. If you’re able to make multiple attacks with the Attack action, this Attack replaces one of them.
The target of your grapple must be no more than one size larger than you and must be within your reach. Using at least one free hand, you try to seize the target by making a grapple check instead of an Attack roll: a Strength (Athletics) check contested by the target’s Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check (the target chooses the ability to use). If you succeed, you subject the target to the Grappled condition (see Conditions ). The condition specifies the things that end it, and you can release the target whenever you like (no action required).
19: The character will try to shove the target prone to the ground. If there are more then one foe to chose from, roll randomly to see which target is attacked.
Using the Attack action, you can make a Special melee Attack to shove a creature, either to knock it prone or push it away from you. If you’re able to make multiple attacks with the Attack action, this Attack replaces one of them.
The target must be no more than one size larger than you and must be within your reach. Instead of Making an Attack roll, you make a Strength (Athletics) check contested by the target’s Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check (the target chooses the ability to use). If you win the contest, you either knock the target prone or push it 5 feet away from you.)
20: The character will disengage from melee (This will not generate an attack of opportunity against them). Once disengaged, the Ambusher will move at their full movement away from the enemy character. Once they have moved as far away as possible, or out of sight, of the last foe they were engaged in melee with, the Ambusher will stop their movement. Re-roll their next action using the “Not in melee” chart.

Nice, this sure it's a more detailed combat system. Plenty of AI action with this. Will do some testing and leave feedback.
